Captain Zach Pfingst
Specializing in shallow water sight fishing on the Lower Eastern Shore of Virginia. Virginia's pristine estuaries are some of the most productive ecosystems in the world, and support an incredible number of species in the world of sport fishing. We offer you the opportunity to target inshore species like Redfish (Red Drum), Sea Trout, Flounder, Stripers, Bluefish and Tarpon depending on season. The Barrier Islands, marshes, creeks and flats on the seaside of the Eastern Shore of Virginia are where Captain Zach Pfingst primarily targets the fish.
The boat is a 2018 Salt Marsh Heron 18 with an overall length in 18 feet 6 inches and a width of 77 inches at deck level. The boat's shallow draft allows us to stalk fish in extremely shallow water. The boat is set up for sight fishing whether it be with a fly rod or spinning/conventional rod. The boat can be polled from the polling platform or trolled from the Rhodan GPS Trolling motor.
Fishing License
A blanket boat Charter Fishing License is attached to the vessel and includes all guests on-board.
